Even an individual with the healthiest diet needs to supplement his or her intake of vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. The nature of our food supply makes supplementation a necessity. Our soils are depleted of vitamins and minerals from years of over-farming, chemical farming, "bioengineering" of foods, harvesting while still "green", prolonged storage systems, and acid rain. Our bodies are now forced to deal with more stress than ever. Although the Paleolithic man had a stressful life just trying to survive, in some ways, he was better off than we are today. His body never had to deal with car exhaust, rooms filled with cigarette smoke, smog, outgassings from office equipment, trans-fats, overly "refined" and processed foods (rather than whole foods) and refined sugars in his food. Our bodies need the proper weapons against these new enemies. We simply can not get them from our food, so we must supplement our diets.

Every study of the American diet reveals deficiencies or sub-optimal intakes of many micronutrients. Diet and nutrient deficiency related degenerative diseases kill more Americans then anything else.1 Adding the proper nutrients to you diet on a daily basis can correct deficiencies and have a profound impact on your health.

Remember that not all supplements- and not all supplement formulas- are created equal. Numerous lab reports have demonstrated that commonly available commercial formulas vary widely in their quality; some supplements don¹t contain nearly the amount of the nutrient the label claims they contain, and many supplements use inferior ingredients or less absorbable, cheaper forms of a nutrient. In vitamin and mineral supplements you most often get what you pay for.

For your information, we have enclosed a Supplement Glossary to help you understand the main benefits of each of the nutrients contained in our various formulations.
